MATRIX Scientific Advisory Board etablert

MATRIX SAB består av 5 internasjonalt anerkjente klinikere og forskere.

Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) består av internasjonaltanerkjente klinikere og forskere med ekspertise innen presisjonsmedisin og kreftforskning. Hovedformålet med SAB er å gi faglige og strategiske råd, samt måle senterets prestasjoner internasjonalt.

MATRIX er glade for å annonsere at senteret nå har etablert et SAB med tilsammen fem eksperter:

Irene Higginson - Professorof Palliative Care & Policy, Kings College London, UK

Professor Higginson, OBE, is Executive Dean of the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care and Faculty Vice Dean (Research). She is also Director of the Cicely Saunders Institute at King’s College London, the world’s first purpose-built Institute of palliative care, integrating research, education, clinical services and support and information.

Janne Lehtiö - Professor and Clinical Chemist, Karolinska Institut, Sweden

Professor Lehtiö is the director of the Karolinska University Hospital’s clinical proteomics facility and director of the clinical proteomics mass spectrometry facility at the national research centre Science for Life Laboratory in Stockholm. His major research interest is to improve proteomics and proteogenomics to obtain new molecular information on cancer and use this information to improve and personalize future cancer treatments.

Sonja Loges - Professor, University Medical Centre Mannheim, Germany

Professor Loges is director of the DKFZ-Hector Cancer Institute and Chair of the Department for Personalised Oncology, University Medical Centre Mannheim, University of Heidelberg, as well as head of the Division of Personalised Medical Oncology at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg.

Ahmad Awada –Professor, Jules Bordet Cancer Institute, Brussels, Belgium

Professor Awada is Head of the Medical Oncology Clinic as well as Head of Oncology Medicine Department at the Jules Bordet Cancer Institute in Brussels. He is also Professor of Clinical Medicine and Medical Oncology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and member of several international scientific societies (ASCO, EORTC, ESMO).

Peter Hall - Clinical Informatics and Health Economics in Cancer, Cancer Research UK Edinburgh Centre, University of Edinburgh, UK

Peter Hall is an academic Medical Oncologist with a research interest in Health Economics, Data Science and Health Technology Assessment in Cancer. He treats patients with breast cancer within the NHS at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. The focus of his research is on the development of improved methods for efficient research design, cost-effectiveness analysis and the measurement of clinical and socio-economic outcomes using data obtained from clinical trials and routinely collected within health systems.
