On January 18-19 the entire consortium gathered in Leiden, The Netherlands for the official PCM4EU kick-off meeting. The event, hosted by Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), gave all the participants an opportunity to get to know each other and all partners' roles and responsibilities within the project in more detail. In addition, the Project Advisor from the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) gave an introduction to the European Commission's health research activities and communicated opportunities and expectations to the project.

After many insightful presentations and fruitful discussions, we are excited to get this project started and look forward to collaborating in the coming years.
